We don’t just advise or teach.

We help you do things differently.

The Data Brave Approach.

When we create a workshop or learning program for you, we focus on the nature of the business problems your teams need to solve. Whether we teach a workshop on experimentation, on how to assess the value of projects or how to use forecasts or predictive models for automating decisions – we put the work your teams need to do at the center.

We work with your problems, your data.

Any learning program we offer has participants bring a relevant and current project or task they are working on. We apply what is taught to work right away. This builds learner confidence and, additionally, you will get an immediate return on investment as participants improve their work.

We teach data skills and thinking habits.

In addition to mastering necessary analytical concepts, we help your teams develop an intuitive sense for choosing the best approach. This includes stepping back and clarifying the questions to be answered, developing a perspective on potential actions to take based on findings, and determining which data and analytic approaches may be best suited to solve the problem at hand. Ultimately, the goal is to help participants combine their domain expertise, data, and, when needed, help from their analytics partners to make the best calls for their tasks at hand.

We provide in-the-moment guidance and coaching.

Decision-making in the here and now is different from case studies or examples where everything fits neatly together or can be explained with the benefit of hindsight. Our facilitators are experienced practitioners who will coach program participants one-on-one or in small groups, dealing with challenges they encounter as they apply what they’ve learned. Working with data is a craft to be learned, not an exercise to be performed, and we are here to help participants develop confidence in their skills.

We tailor the learning experience to your needs.

Because your organization, challenges and teams are unlike any other, we adapt our learning programs to what works best for you. We draw on a variety of modules we’ve developed to convey key analytical concepts but combine them into a learning experience that works for you. We blend online and in-person training as desired and consider how you may want to condense or spread out the overall timeline. We establish clear learning goals and discuss activities and practices to reinforce desired data habits once the program has been completed.

Data Brave clients get it.

“It’s one thing to learn the material and another to retain it. By my count, every one of the project groups had taken it even one step forward and put the learning into action.”

“I was asked to launch a major new program for our customers. By applying what I learned in the workshops, I was able to break it down into key assumptions to test. I now have more productive conversations with key stakeholders on how to advance the project.”
